Professional Experience
Steven served 4 years in the United States Air Force completing his service as a Senior Airman (E-4) in 1999. During his tenure in the Air Force, Steven received numerous commendations; including, a Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award (1995 & 1996), and the prestigious Air Force Achievement Medal. Steven was stationed at Holloman Air Force Base (White Sands Missile Range) in New Mexico where he played a key role in research and development with Global Positioning Systems for the B-2 Stealth Bomber and the F-117 Stealth Fighter. Additionally, Steven worked on numerous research projects involving the High Speed Test Track (Rocket Sled); some of which were classified in nature. For this project, Steven designed and built test systems to measure and analyze the effects of speed on various test objects.
Immediately after the Air Force, Steven went to work for CompUSA as a Lead Technician to support the design and repair of home and small business desktops, laptops, and printers. In this role, Steven also provided onsite installation and training.
Steven then joined Magella Medical Associates of Frisco, Texas, later purchased by Pediatrix Medical Group in Richardson, as a Regional Systems Analyst. For Pediatrix (formerly Magella), Steven provided the sole support for the entire South Central Region with dozens of hospitals, regional offices and pediatric facilities containing over 400 users. Steven performed forensic investigations for Human Resources, in addition to his duties supporting all desktops, applications, Internet connectivity, remote access, disaster recovery, and security. Steven served on an on-call rotation where he would support the entire country and Puerto Rico, over 3,000 users, 24x7 each month for a 1 week period.
In 2003, Steven returned to school full-time to focus on finalizing his Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas in Denton to prepare for his career performing Computer Forensic Investigations. Upon graduating Magna Cum Laude, Steven immediately joined Protegga to manage their investigative processes and daily operations.
